Newgrounds.com — Everything, By Everyone.

Alright, I really don't update my Newgrounds 'news' very often, but after a year and a half, I guess why not. I've worked on some Flash projects, nothing I think worth uploading, but my friend and I have been working a Flash game lately. We've made a lot of progress, especially considering how new we are to Actionscript.

The game is called 'Office Accomplice', it's a sidescroller-shooter set in the 1950s. You play as the pro-American WWII Veteran, Mr. Mark. It begins with Mr. Mark in a meeting with his superiors, he can basically taste (yes, taste) the promotion, but then gun shots are heard, the building rumbles and alarms go off. Everyone scrambles to the window to see that Governor McCarthy was right; the Soviets invaded America. Now Mr. Mark must answer Lady Liberty's call and stop the communists from taking over America, but more importantly, his office so he can get his promotion.

A lot of the gameplay and mechanics are still up in the air, so we're accepting anything that people would like to be seen in the game. So feel free to help the cause. :)
